After cleaning in my room a bit more today, my parents and I went to see Bewitched. Contrary to SOME opinions *coughJasoncough* lol, I thought it was adorable! And I want to see it again, so nyaah. ~_^ Then after dinner we played Scrabble while watching "House" ^_^ and I won this time! Sweet victory! No more being spanked.... for the moment anyway.

Yeah, so there's this one thread on the Gaia forums where the people were dissing vampire poetry simply because one person typed up a crappy poem. I tried to defend the genre, but they ended up copping an attitude with me... so I wrote up something new (cuz I can't seem to find ANY of my poetry at the moment - figures. The Vampire
In darkness she first sensed him drawing near,
The moon's pale glow her only guiding light,
When all at once she saw his eyes appear
Amidst the shadows of the lonely night.
His lips found refuge warm upon her skin,
Hand gently brushing hair away from nape.
A longing there to taste the life within
Would manifest and rapidly take shape.
The eyes of immortality did dote
Upon the trembling maiden 'neath his gaze;
As ruby droplets came forth from her throat,
A passion sent his beatless heart ablaze.
His eagerness reflected in the pace --
A burst of pain amid the bliss and fire --
But soon she sank into his cool embrace,
Now welcomed, his beloved, his vampire.

I thought I had finished the skirt to my Robin costume today... but when I put it on, it didn't look right at all... Back to the drawing board!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not starting completely over, but I might as well be with all the consequent sewing I'll be doing.... sheesh.

Well, I went back to Automation Temp. Services today and had an interview... so here's hoping for my last hope. Oh well, I don't really care anymore. I have a temp job to fill up over half of July and a couple days in August, plus I know now that I get to go to the beach with my family over the last week in July no matter what, so that's exciting. ^_^ Then, since Mom took me over there for the interview, we just drove across Barrett Pkwy afterward and went to see Madagascar - hehe it was cute, but I tell you what. Those kids in the theater..... agh, they make hyper monkeys look well-behaved! They were running around and climbing on chairs and running to the front of the theater and reach up to the screen.. stuff like that. My kingdom for a sniper rifle during those times. sheesh. Anyway, lol, there was this one cute little animal with the lemurs (although I never was sure if he was a lemur too...) and I WANT ONE!! ^_^ it's so cuuute!! I should have brought Chubby with me so he could watch his penguin brethren too... whoops. He'll forgive me, I'm sure. ^^
After the movie, we went to JoAnn and I finally got the black fabric to make the skirt of my Robin costume - and then I'll be done!! ^_^ yaaaaaay *does a happy dance* Then we rented In Good Company and watched that with Dad after dinner.
I called Peter and talked to him for a while, and that always brightens the day...er....night? for me, lol. I need to quit pestering him about visiting me, cuz I know he's busy and all that, but hey, no harm in holding out a little hope, right? I mean, I won't be mad at him or something if he can't come visit - besides, I just like to talk to him, and I got to do that tonight, so all is well.... and I'll get to see him and everybody else I've missed so much in two months. Wow... exactly two months yesterday. Suh-weeet. Okay, clearly I'm getting tired, lol. 'Tis the time for tying up all loose ends for the night and hitting the sack. Farewell, my loves!
P.S. Apparently I had a dream that I don't remember, but I think of the "subject" of the dream differently now - and Michelle, you know the one I mean - so let's see if I dream about that random person again.... and remember it this time! Cuz I wanna know what this is all about, cuz seriously, it is SO random.

Today has been so great, even in spite of the impending arrival of Fred! Work was not nearly as boring and went by faster because Gina was teaching me a lot of new stuff that I'll have to do while she's gone, like sending a package through UPS or FedEx and making the package slips, etc. - Plus today was just a half day from 12 to 5. But then I went straight from work to meet my parents at the AMC at Town Center and see Batman Begins!! Holy CRAP, that was a really good movie. I mean, I despise Katie Holmes and that didn't even take away from my enjoyable movie experience - yaaaaay! In the words of the Teen Girl Squad "SOOOO GOOD!" The only problem is, with the pills I'm taking, I have to go to the bathroom a lot more frequently, and I had to leave once during the movie (which I REALLY hate having to do and avoid doing at all costs whenever possible). I had to laugh in spite of the situation I was in toward the end of the movie, though, cuz I REFUSED to leave a second time, and I WAS going to make it till the end of the movie... and they started talking about water and showed lots of running/spraying water. I was like, aaaagghhhh!! I leaned over to my parents and whispered "if they say the water main is going to explode ONE more time...!!" Hah, it figures. But man. That was a goooood movie. It was worth my bladder being, in the words of Master Tang in Kung Pow, "full to bursting" lol.

This day has been... different. First of all, while I was signing up for a checking account to have for when I'm home (since my TN one is only for, well, TN), I was writing who my closest relative was that doesn't live with me. I was going to write my brother's name, and I figured I ought to put Andrew instead of Andy, so I start writing - then the girl asks me a question, and as I'm answering her, I keep writing... blindly. I looked down and saw that I had written Andrew Jackson!! WTC?! Where was my brain?? *shakes head*
Anyway, Mom and I went to see The Perfect Man, cuz I've been about to wet my pants from wanting to see it so bad (and it just came out Friday, so I was all like, aaaaahhhhh muuussstt seeee moooovvviiieeeee!!). It made me cry, mostly cuz it was basically preaching to the choir. *sigh* ANYway.
Guess what? I now know why I've been in such a funk lately. Well, I checked my calendar, and Fred should be coming to visit any day now - now if only I could have such a guarantee on OTHER people *coughPetercough* HAHAHAHAH I can't believe I just compared Peter to Fred! But hey, at least Peter is a great deal more attractive (oh yesss... *drool*) and a lot less of a pain in the arse (hah! literally). I miss him, by the way... and no, I'm not talking about Fred -_-. The day I miss HIM is the day 42 makes sense.
Anyway, tonight my parents and I went to Moe's and then out for a little proper-office-clothes shopping... Mom and I will be continuing the search tomorrow at Kohl's though, cuz I need a number of outfits so I'm not wearing the same thing nine days in a row (bleh lol).
P.S. 17 days until Fantastic 4!! I'm kinda sad though, cuz I really wanted to see it with... people... who are far away... planning on seeing it without me.... :( I guess I don't blame him.. oh well. I don't know who I'm going to see it with - probably my parents *sigh* lol. Here's hoping for a miracle.

Today I was looking in the mirror and looked down to see something that made me just about wet myself - I saw something that appeared to be a hair on my CHEST! *screams* Seriously, I was like, ah heeeeeeck no, and reached for it.... it was a fiber from some cloth. PHEW! Man, if that had been a hair...... ugh, I don't even wanna think about it. LoL, it reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from Willow:

So I was hanging out with my friend Chris tonight, and we went a few places here and there.... from Marietta Pizza Co. to the Starbucks on Dallas Hwy and then on to the new Walmart off Barrett Pkwy and then... Chattanooga, TN!! Yes, you read that right. After we got some pizza-ish food and some coffee-ish drinks (or in my case, the usual chai creme frappucino) and did a little boredom shopping, we just kept on driving until we got to Chattanooga, then we turned around and came back here, and I just got home about 15 minutes ago. Excitement! It is true, we were on a quest... a quest for Cheerwine... a quest for Cheerwine which we actually found while still the the VERY northern parts of Georgia but still decided to finish our journey to Chatty. After all, telling people you went to north Georgia isn't nearly as interesting and reaction-getting as saying you randomly went to Tennessee! Yeeessss... So now I'm feeling a lot better about stuff than before. Oh yeah, and for those of you currently up at Bryan, sorry I didn't go the extra 30 minutes to see you, but (a) Chris was driving (his own car with his own gas, mind you) and has to work tomorrow...er, today, and (b) you were probably asleep already anyway cuz it was like 12:30 or 12:45 when we got there (hence it would have been after 1 AM when we reached you). So yes, I still love you all, lol. And now I'm off to bed.
P.S. Oh! I almost forgot. At a little after 9 tonight, whilst sipping on my frap at SB, I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize..... it so happens that it was Hollywood Video calling about an interview which I now have at 1 PM on Tuesday of next week - I would have NEVER expected a call like that at 9 PM on a weeknight, but oookaayy..... Hey at least I got it ^_^ and maybe I'll get the job too. *crosses fingers and prays* LoL.. ok ok, farewell and g'night, all!
