"Isn't it marvelous what a new dress will do?" Doris Day's words in her movie The Glass Bottom Boat, one of my favorites, ring true with me this week. In this case, however, I have a new hat. I've been wanting a pinstripe fedora for quite some time now, and since my two weeks of mental Hell are over... let's just say I'm rewarding myself using a bit of the money I earned. Target, you are my hero.
In addition to my excitement at having a new hat (which is odd for me, considering the fact that I usually despise the way hats look on me), I decided to let my creative, if not goofy, juices flow. Thanks to my dear mother's digital camera, lack of sleep and thus sanity, and way too much time on my hands last night, I had my own little "photo shoot." Yes, I was bored. Yes, I'm a dork. No, I don't care.
